Tresmilmundos Cine is a production company created by Celina Murga and Juan Villegas in 2004, to develop auteur-film productions in Argentina. Celina Murga had already produced Ana y los otros and Juan Villegas has made the same with his first feature, Sábado. We are focused on the work of filmmakers who could reach international audiences and markets. Our films has been screened at Cannes, San Sebastián, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, among others film festivals.

Synopsis: Irene, a 47-year-old woman from Spain, lives in an upper class neighbourhood in Buenos Aires with her husband Andrés (48) and their son Mateo (12). One day, suddenly and unexpectedly, Mateo commits suicide.
In the face of this tragedy, Irene’s world falls apart.
She decides to go back to University, to restart her studies. All her fellow students are in their twenties. In this new world, Irene finds the possibility, to give meaning to her life.
